NEW ROSS TOWN COUNCIL AND WEXFORD

COUNTY COUNCIL PLANNING AUTHORITIES

Notification of publication of the Draft New Ross Town & Environs

Development Plan 2010-2016 pursuant to Section 12(1)(b) of the Planning &

Development Acts 2000-2009.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 12(1)(b) of the Planning and

Development Acts 2000-2009 that New Ross Town Council, being the Planning

Authority for New Ross Town and Wexford County Council, being the Planning

Authority for the Town’s Environs, have prepared a Draft Development Plan for

New Ross Town and Environs.

The Draft Development Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report

prepared in accordance with the Planning and Development (Strategic

Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004 and an Appropriate Assessment,

pursuant to Article 6 of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC.

The Draft Development Plan will be on public display from

Wednesday 21 st July 2010 to Friday 1st October 2010 and can be inspected at:

Planning Reception, Planning Department, Wexford County Council,

County Hall, Wexford: Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.

New Ross Town Council: Monday to Friday

9.00am - 1.00pm & 2.00pm – 5.00 pm

•

New Ross Library, Barrack Lane, New Ross: Monday & Saturday

10.30am – 1.00pm & 2.00pm – 5.30pm, Tuesday 10.30am – 8.30pm,

Wednesday to Friday 10.30am – 5.30pm

Written observations or submissions regarding the Draft Development Plan,

Environmental Report and Appropriate Assessment are invited from members of

the public and other interested parties. Written submissions or observations

marked ‘Draft New Ross Town and Environs Development Plan’ should be

submitted between Wednesday 21st July 2010 to Friday 1 st October 2010 to:
